It’s one of my main purposes in life to spread the word, as efficiently as I can, about how precious our planet is and how it’s so important to protect it for ourselves, our children, their children and for many, many generations to come. Imagine how delighted I am to report on a new family business that is totally dedicated to green principles. It is a business I intend to frequently patronize. By using their service, I too will be a better citizen, and that makes me feel doubly good.

The business – LuLu’s Car Wash, conveniently located near Landshark Stadium on 17551 NW 27th Avenue in Miami Gardens.

Being a new member of the North Dade Regional Chamber of Commerce, some fellow board members and I attended their recent Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting. Not only did I get the cleanest, shiniest car ever, but the whole process took three minutes and cost me less than I have spent in a long, long time.

My car was washed, waxed, polished, triple-foam conditioned, RainX applied, had super wheel brightener, tires shined and totally dried in under three minutes, without ever having to leave my car (bring your kids, it’ll be fun). All this and a 24 hour guarantee should it rain that day.

When I was through, I had the opportunity to have my car totally vacuumed and mats washed – free. (And, if one is elderly or disabled, that service will be rendered by an attendant – free).

Let’s get into the why LuLu’s is so special:

• All chemicals used are Armorall Professional brand – safe for the vehicle and safe for the environment.
• The entire cleaning process is computerized – no waste of water, no waste of chemicals, no waste of energy. Each stage only becomes activated as vehicle approaches that stage.

• No more waste of water. LuLu’s has a its own water plant on site (a reclamation and recycling system). Then the water is recaptured, cleansed, processed and reused.
