Using anywhere between 50 and 150 gallons of water, a typical driveway-style car wash is terribly wasteful. The phosphate-rich detergents washing down storm drains into fresh water systems are harmful and toxic to the environment as well. For this reason, many communities are banning driveway carwashing.

We are commmitted to lowering the environmental impact of our business as much as possible. Our water reclamation system uses as little as 8 gallons of fresh water per car. Washing your car at LuLu’s keeps your conscience clean: our shampoos are biodegradable and non-corrosive; We avoid the toxic chemicals other touchless car washes regularly use.
